This is for children ages 3-5 who live within our district boundaries and are NOT eligible for Kindergarten in 2023-24.This screening will determine if they qualify for a special education preschool program for children with developmental delays. Screening areas will include: speech, academics, gross/fine motor skills, vision, hearing, behavior, etc. Children who demonstrate delays in any of these areas are encouraged to attend this screening. If your child shows a delay in any area during the screening, a second appointment will be scheduled to do more in-depth testing. After the second round of testing, a meeting will be scheduled to go over the test results and to see if your child qualifies for the program or not.
