The Fairview Park City School District invites parents and other interested members of the public, including individuals with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities, to participate in a meeting to discuss the use of Federal funds, namely the federally funded Title VI-B Special Education and Early Childhood Special Education Funds. Two meetings will be held on January 31, 2024, one at 1:00 p.m. and one at 5 p.m., both at the Board of Education Office located at 21620 Mastick Rd, Fairview Park, OH 44126. The Coordinator of Special Education, Janice Price, will lead the discussion and participants will have an opportunity to provide input for the continued use of those respective funds. Superintendent Keith Ahearn has planned four Town Hall meetings using Facebook Live during the 2023-2024 school year to connect more with parents and the entire Fairview Park community. Each meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM and should last no more than an hour.
The meetings will be held virtually on Facebook Live. You do not need a Facebook account to view the meetings in real-time.

FHS: ACT Testing – Grade 11

On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, all Fairview High School juniors are required to take state-mandated ACT testing. Please refer to the information below for instructions for all grade levels 6-12 on February 27, 2024.
Grade 11: All 11th-grade students must take the state-mandated ACT exam at Fairview High School on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Grade 11 students must report to the school by 8:15 AM. The building will provide more information via email on the specific testing locations in Fairview High School for juniors.
Grades 9, 10, and 12: Students in grades 9, 10, and 12 will have an asynchronous educational day at home and SHOULD NOT REPORT to the school building on February 27, 2024. Teachers will provide expectations and work for students prior to February 27.
