    Is your 10th grade student interested in getting a head start on college courses and saving money on their future college expenses? Middle College is an alternative education program for 11th and 12th graders offered by the San Mateo Union High School District (SMUHSD). Middle College, located on College of San Mateo campus, allows students to earn college units while meeting their high school diploma requirements.

    This in-person session will be in English with Spanish interpretation.

    Middle College will start accepting enrollment applications in January.
    Current 10th Graders: The deadline to enroll for the Fall 2024 Semester is February 23, 2024
    *If your student doesn’t have a P.E. class, please tell them to talk to their counselor or administrator about how they can attend the January 22 info session for students.

    The 2nd Annual Pride Prom will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 at the College of San Mateo.
    Celebrate the 2nd Annual Pride Prom, an inclusive, safe, welcoming, night to remember for 9th-12th grade students who attend high school in San Mateo County.This FREE event will celebrate and uplift LGBTQ young people and advocate for the sustained and continued efforts in our County to build places where youth are seen and supported in environments free from hate and discrimination.We recognize that while high school district proms are inclusive and welcoming, not allstudents have an opportunity to celebrate themselves at their prom. This event will providea variety of activities, including dancing and a DJ, lots of food, drinks and much more.
